I am currently on SDD. I've been looking for any kind of help out there for home repairs, any home energy effieciency programs etc. I've looked all over the internet and can't seem to find much for a person on social security disability! Anyone have any information I would greatly appreciate it! Thank You
So sorry you are feeling lost, I don't suppose it helps much that lots of people seem to be in the same predicament. Fortunately there are some programs out there to help those who need home repairs and those who are disabled. First I would check out the government site disability.gov to see if there is local help available to you. You can find a good guide to using the site here. Next I would check out other programs that are designed to help people who can't afford needed home repairs. There are a number of them so it will take some work on your part to find one in your area, but you will get some good tips and direction to helpful resources here.
Thank You for your guidance. I really appreciate the info! I know so many people as well going through similar situations as well. We r struggling to get food, pay our bills. Just drowning in debt. Can not seen to catch up no matter what we do. I just keep praying! Ty
