Need money for down payment on home, but have no accounts.

They're asking a downpayment of $3,000 dollars. The home is for only $15,000. All I need is the $3,000. Need money for down payment on home, but have no accounts.

That sounds like a high down payment requirement since these days there are programs that help you buy a house with just 3% down (vs. the 20% that is being required of you). However, if you have "no accounts"  it's understandable that the seller would require more up front.

There are government and private programs that help people buy homes. You can find out more about some of them in this article about government grants to buy a house.  You should also contact your local HUD agency (Housing and Urban Development). They offer advice about housing and getting money for your down payment. You should be able to reach them by calling 1-800-569-4287.

 Finally you might consider telling your story on a "crowdfuning" site that lets other people help out those in need. You can read about sites specifically for personal needs (rather than businesses or the arts) in this article, pretty interesting reading!
It's called "Free Money 2015" but the information is not out of date...
