I want to know how to check for a federal grant offered to me. I want to know if it is legit. This is my reference number AG179. But I also have to pay an activation so i get the rererence number. Is this true or a scam? I received a call from 202-838-7615 for a grant. How do I check if it is legit?
This is definitely a scam. DO NOT pay an "activation". It may sound very official with the reference number and all but these people are just going to take your money.
