I am a black woman starting a non profit business in counseling. I am looking for free grant funding for a non profit start up business to hire employees. I am in need of counselors, consultants, and secretary. Is there funding for a non-profit startup for a minority woman?

There are indeed grants for non-profits.  Many require that you be an official 501c3 organization as defined by the Internal Revenue Service. You can find out more in this article about  Grants for Nonprofits. It will give you some itips about how to go about finding a grant. You might also check with the  federal government's SBA (Small Business Association) . Even though you're not starting a for-profit business they may be able to help you with the counsling and consulting aspect of your project, and it wouldn't cost you anything.  And they have special programs for women and minorities too. Discover more in this review of the SBA.
