A $5,000 loan will allow me to relocate to another state and greatly increase my earned income. This move is my only hope to rise above my poverty level life.

Joan congratulations on working toward a move that will help you improve your life! I have a couple of suggestions for you:

First is that you consider "peer to peer" lending. These are online platforms that allow you to submit your request/reason for a loan and others can "invest" by making that loan to you. A move or relocation is one of the types of loan they list!  You fill out a very simple application online and they will do a "soft pull" on your credit. You have to have a score of 600 or higher to qualify. peerform.com has some good reviews and has been mentioned positively in publications such as TIME Magazine, so I think they're worth checking out.

If you have a decent car and driving record you might also consider part time work such as driving for Uber. The application is apparently easy and you can set you own hours. You could also check out the article Grants to Pay Bills for more ideas about how to raise extra cash. (There aren't really Grants for that purpose, but the article provides other options and ideas for earning money as well as tips about what to avoid).
