This is first year I cannot get help with my premiums, food stamps, nor prescriptions as the state goes by gross income! I'm in bad need of a car to get to doctors & owe out money in medical for test, which, with all my medical problems I cannot go for a lot of these test as can't afford out of pocket money. I was diagnosed with type-II diabetes last Janurary and I get sick as I can't afford food. I'm not even exaggerating on this. My fridge is empty! I'm looking to see if I could get a $5,000 to $10,000 government loan. Does anyone know of these? I need to get transportation & pay all medical bills owed as they're not going to see me if any higher, one of my prescriptions are $200.00 and another $169.00 and I need like 8 scripts every month. I really feel they're trying to do away with seniors. Please help? Where I could get a loan with no credit one check will all go to medical, I'm 61 yrs. old, widowed & disabled Is there any kind of grants for disabled or widowed women?

So sorry, Delores. I agree that sometime it does seem like they are not doing much to help seniors survive these days.

Here are some possibilities:  you can find some good leads to get assistance in this article about grants for seniors.

I would highly recommend that you check the disability.gov website and search it thoroughtly. They do an excellent job in helping you find resources right down to your zip code. You can also get tips on using it in this review of disability.gov.  And you might get some good leads in this article about grants for widows with children, definitely check it out.
