I am desperately in need of Dental care. I have ongoing infections. an absess, puss and drainage. I have been battling these infections for years and I am really worried about my health at this point. I have 6 broken teeth most up to the gumline. I have a great deal of swelling, redness and bleeding. I have been hospitalized for 7 days with Cellulitis in my face as a result of an infection a few years ago. I am permantly disabled have health insurance empire/medicare with absolutely no dental coverage. My only source of income is a monthly Social Security check and there is never any extra money left for dental care. I am 53 and I do not want to lose all my teeth or worse my health. I would appreciate any advice or resources I could look into.

Doreen we are so sorry you are in such a state! You are absolutely right that you must take care of these conditions as they can seriously threaten your overall health. It is really a shame that current medical coverage does not consider adult dental health to be a requirement.

There are doctors and clinics and non-profits that sponsor free or subsidized dental care to people in your situation. Please take a look at the guide offered in this guide to Free Dental Care and go after those leads.
