I am seeking grant to purchase heavy duty class 8 tractor. Class 8 tractor (heavy duty truck) used for intrastate or interstate commerce. Are there grants to purchase a heavy duty class 8 tractor?
The only truck-specific grants that we know of are "green" incentives aimed at getting older existing trucks off the road. But if you are essentially looking for ways to finance getting your own trucking business going, there are lots of resources out there. I would recommend starting with an overview of small business grants and loans and follow up on the options that look good to you.
