Takini grant school from Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe would like to know if any grants are available to enhance our school library to better serve the students.

This is a tough one to get good information on. Some grants do exist but appear to be available only indirectly through a community agency or non-profit. However, there are a couple of places you should try:

1) Contact the Bureau of Indian Education at bie.edu. Their website lists mostly scholarships but there may be information regarding available grants if you contact them directly.

2) grants.gov is the central, constantly updated database of all federal grants. Go there directly and enter your keywords to do a search, or start with this review of grants.gov to get more information about how to use the site.
