Good day,

i am involved in a sports club based in Gauteng South Africa. We cater to the following sports: Cricket, field hockey and rugby both senior and junior (junior 6 to 18 year old), road running and soccer. We are trying to lay a synthetic field hockey surface as well as rugby and soccer fields.

We are looking for $ 850,000 to $ 1,000,000

Any suggestions?

Good question, I'm afraid we are not very familiar with entities in the U.S. that make grants to those in other countrries. You might take a look at the U.S State Department website and see if you can search "internatioinal grants" or find any information on the site.

You could also contact that Africa Foundation which I believe is located in South Africa. They are largely interested in conservation but also put an emphasis on community development.
