I recieved a phone letting me know that I won a free government grant, one I don't have to pay back. They did not ask me for personal information. How do i find out? Sheryl Ann Jones 44 years old. Please contact me ASAP cause I believe my time is almost out. Thank you.
First, you should never put personal info on a public site like this.
Second --- this is a scam!! They will most certainly ask you for money in order to get the grant, and that is a sure sign that this is NOT LEGITIMATE. The government does NOT operate in this way and will never contact you directly like this. Please read this article about free money phone call scams and do not fall for this!
